JBL VRX 932 LAP – The Ideal 12” in 2-Way Line Array Loudspeaker System
The JBL VRX 932 LAP is a lightweight, high-powered, compact 12 inches 2-way line array loudspeaker that is designed for arrays up to five sound system units. This pro speaker gives an outstanding audio quality, versatility and a remarkable JBL driver in a good-looking, easy to carry and a low-cost package. Two speaker manufacturers which are the JBL and Crown worked and designed the built-in DrivePack DPC-2 Amp to provide you a peak power of 1750 Watts and optimization of the system. And, JBL's unique Differential Drive which is made up of neodymium magnets provide you an extraordinary power and decreased power compression yet still maintains its lightweight feature.
2 compression drivers on a steady arc are mounted by the Constant Curvature waveguide. If several VRX 932 LAP speakers will be included in the array, the steady arc will still continue that makes the entire speaker's drivers act as one on an extensive waveguide.
The JBL VRX 932 LAP are installed with 3 HF drivers that's why the compact power management and audio output of the sound system is a long way better than any single regular driver could work out. This series features "amplitude shading" to manage the coverage of an array of amplifier. The controls on the woofer can help you adjust the array's coverage. For instance, you want to adjust a specific speaker to reach its coverage in the far off side of the room, whilst you can decrease the coverage of the speaker box below to minimize the audio level & volume at the front part of the venue.
Maybe 1 or 2 speaker systems can be stacked over the VRX 915S subwoofer because of the VRX 932 LAP's flexibility. To safely lock the speaker array together, the integral rigging hardware was used. Up to five speaker systems can be stacked up in a single array up to 90° nominal vertical coverage.
The VRX 932 LAP has a dimension of 13.75 in x 23.5 in x 17.5 in and weighs 52 lbs or 24 kg. Its enclosure is made up of 25/15 mm Birch plywood coated with black Duraflex. Its frequency range is 57 Hz - 20 Hz with a frequency response of 75 Hz - 20 kHz and has a Crossover frequency of 1.2 kHz. The angle of its horizontal coverage would be 100 degrees while a vertical coverage has an angle of 15 degrees. The input and output connection used is an XLR, and the High and Low Frequency Impedence is 2 x 2 ohms & 4 ohms. Lastly, the VRX 932 LAP has a 136 dB maximum Sound pressure Level.
